Villa Annamaria is an ancient seventeenth century (1697) villa of over 1000mq. It was built by the Gazzinelli family, Venetian merchants on South American routes, traders of precious hardwood and art lovers.
The history of the Gazzinelli family and their passion for painting are clearly testified by the frescoes that decorate the breakfast room, the reception and some of the rooms, while the precious hardwood (rosewood, teak, mahogany, ebony, jotoba) used in most of the groundfloor confirm the link with the South American continent.
My parents bought the villa from the Gazzinelli family in 1960 and it has been “my home” ever since. In 2017, after an intensive and careful renovation, my wife Isabella and I transformed it into a welcoming B&B. Six unique rooms, for you to enjoy lake Como surrounded by the charme of 17th century
